Governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD), in Ogun State, Engr. Oluseyi Gavriel Olufade, has charged the youths in the state to rise up and effect necessary changes in the state in order to reposition it for greater heights.
According to him, it is by so doing that the building youths in the state can realize their full potentials and hence change the narrative of the state from the story of idle and jobless youths without a clear future.
“I realised that coming from the private sector lots can be done better in Ogun State system of Government” he declared
The Alliance for Democracy (AD) Governorship candidate spoke on Wednesday when he met with some students union representatives council across the local governments in the state to promote his aspiration to run for the state governorship.
Speaking at the round-table, Mr Olufade mentioned three things that motivated him to run for the post.
According to him, “I realised that coming from the private sector lots can be done differently and better, so I have chosen to run in other to change the narrative and polity of the system of government in Ogun State.

Said he, “as a thirty-nine years old young man I have noticed that 70% of the population we have in our country are youths, I have come to realise the vibrant need of people and we should not keep allowing our Uncles and Daddy’s to rule us” adding, “although it is a lot of risk and exposure for once let’s put a better foot forward.”
He further said from experience and the challenge of contemporary nation-building,” it takes innovative leaders to rule, we can make our communities better, have worked with the government for seven and few years in terms of restructuring this economy, I have got it”! he added.
