Like it happened in Delta State recently, when Yahoo BoysPlus lured a 300 Level Student of Delta State University who was in search of accommodation, into the bush and murdered her for rituals, the criminal activities of the boys is spreading like a harmattan fire.
This time, to the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) were one of them (Yahoo Boys) who disguised as a female student to gain entry into the female hostel was caught stealing female underwears allegedly for in rituals.
When the Yahoo Boy who was caught at maintenance hostel was searched, about 70 female underwears was found on him.
According to out source who is a final year student of OAU, the practice had been on for a while until the boy was caught last Thursday.
The incident has thrown female students of the varsity into panic mood so much so that they are all living in fears.
Reacting to the news of the incident, an official of the university who refused his name in the print said, “I am not aware of that incident sir. But I can assure you that the university is already making arrangements to firm up security in that area. Irrespective of where our students live whether on campus or off campus, the university authorities will like to assure parents and guardians of the safety of their children and wards. We are on top of the situation and it is being addressed decisively.”
