Members of Presidential Advisory Committee on Prerogative Mercy (PACPM) have embarked on a visit of prison formations across parts of the northern states to ascertain, one on one, To ascertain one on one those inmates that have their application with the committee for pardon.
The tour which started Monday according to Mrs. Lucy Omosefe Ajayi, has taken the members of PACPM to the jail houses in Adamawa, Bauchi and Jos, the capitals of Adamawa, Bauchi and Plateau states respectively.
On Monday, November 12 2018, the group visited the prison and the inmates at Yola Prison.
From Yola Prison, the Committee journeyed to Bauchi, in Bauchi State before their arrival at Jos to see things for themselves at the tin city of Jos, capital of Plateau State.
It will be recalled that Mrs. Omosefe_Ajayi and her colleagues were recently appointed into the committee by the federal government and inaugurated by the Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Mustapha Boss.
Omosefe-Ajayi is also the executive director general and chief executive officer of the Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, Lagos, (LITFC).
