Senate adjourns plenary over lack of quorum

974

Senate on Tuesday adjourned plenary session due to failure of Senators to form quorum.

The lawmakers present at the plenary session were not up to fifteen.

Although, Senate President, Bukola Saraki explained that some of the lawmakers are on oversight functions.

However, the absence of the lawmakers might not be unconnected to the 2019 elections campaign.

The lawmakers are expected to reconvene on November 20.
