A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has granted embattled former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose bail on Wednesday.
The former Governor was granted a N50m bail.
Mr. Ayodele Fayose, who is facing N2.2bn fraud charges began his case on Monday after which the case was adjourned to Wednesday (today) by Justice Mojisola Olatoregun.
The judge however granted Fayose bail with two sureties in like sum .
Meanwhile, the judge also said the ex-governor should be remanded in the prison custody pending the fulfillment
of the bail condition.
