Family of the late Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi has announced the burial arrangements of the deceased jurist.
The remains of the late jurist are scheduled to arrive Abuja from London Wednesday morning ahead of internment same day by 2pm at the Gudu Cemetery Abuja.
Muslim clerics would officiate the Janazah prayers at the National Mosque Abuja before the burial of the late senior jurist.
Part of the arrangements include the Fidau prayers which would take place on Thursday 24th October at 10am at the residence of the late Kutigi in Asokoro Abuja.
The late Kutigi’s family has however arranged that the Fidau prayers will take place simultaneously at the Etsu Nupe’s Palace in Bida and in Kutigi, Niger State in order to give his immediate community the opportunity to pay last respect.
Retired Justice kutigi who passed on last Saturday night at a United Kingdom hospital after a protracted illness was 78 and would be missed greatly.
