The Supreme leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has disclosed that South East region (Biafra) will not take part in 2019 general elections.
Nnamdi Kanu who jumped bail in Nigeria in his life broadcast from Isreal said it is either referendum or nothing.
According to him, IPOB will liberate Biafra and we will not take part in any election until we get a referendum and this is not negotiable, we will achieve this by every necessary means, we thank Isreal for all the contributions they made to IPOB.
The position of Nnamdi Kanu is different from what chief Fani-Kayode said on Saturday that Nnamdi Kanu has agreed to work with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to vote out President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Kanu also added in his broadcast,”I decree that there is no longer South East or South South Nigeria, it shall be known as Biafra, without referendum nothing will happen in Nigeria. IPOB will not participate in any election and that position will never change “
