Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has confirmed candidacy of Uba Sani as Candidate that will replace Senator Shehu Sani for Kaduna central in 2019 National Assembly Elections.
Submission for Presidential Candidates and National Assembly closed yesterday (Thursday), based on INEC guidelines.
Shehu Sani had been in running battle with Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai over Kaduna central Senatorial ticket of All Progressives Congress (APC).
However, the embattled Senator failed to participate in the party’s primary hoping to get an automatic ticket.
But, his hope was dashed yesterday as National Working Committee (NWC) submitted Uba Sani’s name to INEC.
