People living with disabilities among delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party at the party’s on-going convention in Port Harcourt, the River State capital have pledged their support for the candidacy of Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Numbering 37 in all, the special need people in Port Harcourt have pledged their votes to the aspirant.
According to sources in Port Harcourt, the special needs delegates said only Saraki had come to campaign to them and they would give him their 37 votes.
Meanwhile, the National Assembly members have also decided to give a majority of their votes to the Senate President which may have boosted his confidence and chances above other aspirants.
However, the votes of delegates who are members of the National Assembly may be shared between Saraki and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal while votes from north east may be splited between Saraki and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar who is from the north east.
