The Deputy Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly , Hon. Kunle Oluomo escaped death by the whiskers when some armed hoodlums suspected to be political thugs invaded his Ifo constituency office.
Furious not to find Oluomo who sources said had just left the office , the hoodlums vandalized the office and the four buses owned by the legislator for conveying students in the constituency to school,
The development further heightened tension over the proposed APC Governorship primaries which was postponed after some gun tooting hoodlums invaded the venue of a meeting between the Electoral Committee and the aspirants shooting sporadically.
Heavily armed Policemen were said to have been quickly drafted to Ifo to prevent further break down of law and order.
Confirming the incident on the phone, Hon. Oluomo refused to disclose his where about but added that the Police in Sango Divisional Headquarters have taken the vandalized buses
