British boxer of Nigerian descent, Anthony Olufemi Joshua this evening knocked out his Russian opponent Alexander Povetkin at the famous Wembley stadium in England.
The Russian seemed to gain an early lead growing in confidence as Joshua’s nose continued to be a mess via heavy punches.

Povetkin who held the WBA title from 2010-2013, pounded his opponent and went close to getting a clean hit on Joshua who suffered early bloody nose.
Joshua got back into the match taking it easy and landing a good left hook promptly replied by Povetkin hitting a wobbling but recovering Joshua.
The Nigerian however added another WBA title with a knockout win over Povetkin Saturday night.
In the seventh round, the champion came out for the kill and knocked Povetkin to the canvas to finish off a brilliant display.
