As the plot to deny Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, the ticket of All Progressives Congress (APC),  to enable him seek re-election thickens, each day also comes with fresh allegation(s).

The latest is the alleged humiliation he allegedly meted out to his predecessor, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (BRF) and all those who worked with him and his deputy.

They alleged that he has refused to pay their severance fees and the supposed beneficiaries and this include 91 special advisers (SSA) and special assistants (SA) besides commissioners who served the government were not paid their entitlements while some with land allocations have them revoked.

Those who in the fore-front of making sure that he does not return to the seat of the governor of the state also claim that he was behind the disclosure of how much BRF spent on the controversial Lagos State website which dented the image of the ex-governor whom many see as corrupt free.

They also alluded to Oshodi/International Airport road which the governor at a press conference he personally addressed alleged  that BRF had frustrated the state government’s efforts at taking it over for reconstruction.

Apart from the above, they also alleged that the governor is so vindictive that he has refused to pay BRF and those who worked with him their  severance fee even when President Mohammadu Buhari is said to have paid his precedessor and all those that worked despite the fact that they belong to different parties.

The action we learnt has not gone down well with the party leaders some of whom served the state at different levels in the days of BRF and have patiently waited for this time to bring it up among other allegations like the controversial issue of the revocation of Private Sector Participants(PSP) contract of waste disposal, the purchase of Lagos state Television( LTV ) Outside Broadcasting Van(OB van),cameras contract among others.

However, efforts to get the governor’s reaction through his spokesman, Habib Aruna, proved abortive as he did not take his calls on his telephone or call back. Neither did he reply to SMS and WhatApps messages sent to his phone .
