The Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu has admitted misleading public on freezing of Adeleke’s family account by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Momodu had on Friday raised alarm that anti-graft agency has frozen the Account of Davido and that of Ademola Adeleke’s in FCMB .
The PDP had also on Saturday alleged that the accounts of Adeleke family members had been frozen, describing it as “a recipe for crisis in Osun”.
But, EFCC on Sunday denied freezing the bank account of Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Osun.
However, backtracking on his tweet, Dele Momodu said,”When news of the freezing of family accounts of the Adelekes was going viral, The Boss made a few calls to those who should be in the know and our source confirmed the story and even mentioned the accounts were in FCMB. We hereby withdraw it with sincere apologies.”
