Osun APC governorship campaign materials vandalised

Posters and campaign boards of the Osun state governorship candidate of the All Peoples Congress APC, Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola are being destroyed in Iwo, Iwo Local Government of the state.
The poster which were said to have been brought to Iwo on Thursday evening were said to have been destroyed overnight
Iwo which had been a notable enclave of the progressive is the hometown of estwhile Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Adeoti.
Adeoti had in the wake of the party primary resigned his appointment and gone ahead to pick the ticket of the ADP.
 Inspecting the damaged campaign materials, Chairman of Iwo local government, Alhaji Raji Abiodun Kamoru ordered the immediate arrest of all political vandals, who specialise in destroying posters of Candidates in the forth coming gubernatorial election in Osun state.
Raji described the destruction as barbaric and ungodly adding that those in the habit of doing such will be fished out and prosecuted
Raji however refused to mention any particular politician, who he suspected might be responsible, but gave the assurance that all the vandals would be apprehended and treated like criminals.
The Vandals began their operation from Araro through Junction Osogbo to Oja Roundabout and parts of Kajola area.
The local government boss enjoined leading politicians in the town to warn all their followers adding that anybody caught would bmeverely dealt with irrespective of political status.
