Both countries met once in a group A match of the 2022 U20 Women’s Football tournament of 11th August that ended goalless.
Spain in their 5 times appearances won the title in 2022, were runners up in 2018 and were stopped at the quarterfinals in 2016 as well as the last tournament in 2024. Brazil never won the title or played at any grand finale in the 12 times at the party. Brazil won Bronze in 2006 and 2022, placed 4th in 2002 and 2004, played quarterfinals in 2008 and 2016 then lost at the group stages in 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2018.

Tomorrow Sunday at 2pm Nigeria’s Falconets faces Columbia in the 3rd quarterfinals while at 5:30pm defending champions North Korea will fight against Canada for the semifinals ticket.
