After two months in captivity the pupils and teachers kidnapped from across three schools in Oriire area of Oyo State have regained their freedom.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, made this known in a tweet on his X handle.
The tweet, on Friday evening, said: “Finally, all the kidnapped pupils and teachers in Orire, Oyo have been rescued by our security agencies.”
Onanuga also accompanied it with a video of the Principal of one of the schools, Rachael Folawe Alamu, who hailed security agents for their rescue.
