The Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC) Sector Command in Ogun State, has announced plans to monitor and regulate drivers’ conduct on the Sagamu-Benin-Ore highway during the Eid-el-Fitri celebration.

The sector Commander, Mr Nasir Mohammed, disclosed this on Friday in Ota while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), warning that traffic regulations would be strictly enforced.

Mohammed urged motorists to prioritise safety, noting that most road accidents, often resulting in fatalities and injuries, occurred due to violations of traffic laws.

“The FRSC has deployed personnel to strategic locations along the corridor to respond to emergencies and curb reckless driving,” he said.

“We have launched a special operation to ease gridlocks and remove obstructions along the route.
