NYSC orientation camp
Katsina State Government has commenced installation of solar light in and around the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Permanent Orientation camp, along Mani Road.
The NYSC Coordinator in the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Sa’idu disclosed this in Katsina on Saturday, while addressing Corps Members on personal security.
He said that Gov. Dikko Radda gave approval for the installation of the solar powered lights to illuminate the camp premises since 2024.

Sa’idu further explained that the solar lights when completed, will provide permanent lighting and illuminate the entire camp at night for corps members to participate freely during evening social activities.
The NYSC Coordinator also used the opportunity to appreciate the governor for fulfilling his promise, saying that it is a great gesture.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Sa’idu expressed hope that the installation work will be completed and the lights put into use in the next short possible time.
NAN recalls that the NYSC Coordinator in his speech during the swearing of the deployed 2024 Batch ‘C’ stream ll corps members on Friday, appealed to the governor to fulfill his promise. (NAN)
