President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced a 30-day National Youth Confab aimed at uniting young people from across the country to collaboratively address critical issues, including education, employment, innovation, security, and social justice.
This is just as he announced that the country’s debt servicing ratio has reduced to 68% of the national budget from previous 93%.

In his speech, President Tinubu highlighted that the modalities for the conference and the selection of delegates would be developed in close consultation with youth representatives to ensure inclusivity.

“Through this confab, it will be our job as leaders to ensure that their aspirations are at the heart of the conference’s deliberations,” he said. He further assured that the government would thoroughly consider and implement the recommendations and outcomes from the forum, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to building a more inclusive, prosperous, and united Nigeria.

Additionally, the president highlighted ongoing youth-centric programs, including the Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy’s 3 Million Technical Talents (3MTT) initiative.
Said he,”This program aims to build Nigeria’s technical talent pool, positioning young people to thrive in an evolving global economy.”
