Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, Monday led a crucial meeting on ways to implement President Tinubu’s directive for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) to sell crude oil to local refineries in Naira.
According to the post disclosed by the Federal Ministry of Finance official X handle, the initiative aims to strengthen the domestic economy and support the sustainable operations of local refineries, including the Dangote Refinery.
The post reads:“On Monday morning the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, led a key meeting aimed at implementing President Tinubu’s directive for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited #nnpclimited to sell crude oil to local refineries in Naira. This initiative is intended to strengthen the domestic economy and support the sustainable operations of local refineries, including the Dangote Refinery.
