Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu paid N4.5 billion pension and gratuities to 2,000 retirees today.
By this gesture, the Governor has effectively cleared all pension backlog in Lagos State.

The outstanding pension funds were disbursed this morning at the 105th Retirement Benefit Bond Certificate Presentation Ceremony hosted by Lagos State Pension Commission (@Laspec_Official) in Oregun. Lagos has now moved from delaying pension to Pay-As-You-Go.
