Lagos International Fire Safety Conference: NAFDAS Introduces Strategic Tech-solutions

A new, innovative and practical approach to fire prevention and protection of life and property has been introduced to the general public at the just concluded Lagos International fire safety conference by NAFDAS. NAFDAS is Public Private Partnership initiative of Federal Government and HOLYSYS.

It is aimed at using world bench- mark technologies to network, monitor and alert fire fighting services through a real time Dispatcher integration system.

Speaking to reporters at the just concluded conference, Engineer Oladimeji Adeleye, the CEO, of HOLYSIS said, “The National Fire Detection and Alarm System has been embraced by the Federal Fire Service and adopted by Federal Government of Nigeria(FGN) as the National Fire Detection and Alarm System (NAFDAS).

The NAFDAS addresses the AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION OF FIRE DEPARTMENT, a critical aspect of all the life safety systems as defined by Britannica.
“The project represent a significant leap forward in our collective efforts to protect life and property. The Automatic Notification of Fire Department and all stakeholders including the assets owners is accomplished through Machine to Machine communication links between assets/properties life safety systems and the NAFDAS monitoring platforms. The distributive and modular network architecture of the NAFDAS monitoring platforms including the fire trucks mobile alarm units targets 3 minutes response time. GPS locator, SMS Alert, and Telephone call by operators to the asset owners, managers or proprietors are all standard features of NAFDAS.
The National Fire Detection and Alarm System is an open platform, a multi-system including conventional, multi-protocol, Multi-mode communications system. It embraces and actively engages all services providers including equipment distributors vendors and installers alike.
