The Head of Media of the The Redeemed Christian Church of God,RCCG,Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi,has said that contrary to impression in some quarters,the ban on invitation on non RCCG Ministers outside its fold to it’s parishes nationwide is total.
He stated this in a statement made available to Newdawnngr.com Tuesday.
Said he,”I want to clarify that the real purpose of the new directive from the RCCG leadership is to fully forbid the invitation of guest ministers from outside the RCCG fold to any of the Parishes with immediate effect.
He said the statement has become necessary in order to correct the impression earlier created in some reports that the ban is not total.
” This is to correct the impression earlier wrongly created that the ban is not total and that those who might have to invite such external Ministers would have to obtain clearance and approval. ”
“The ban is total, and the memo gives no room for any approval from anywhere whatsoever.
