The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Niamey has denied video report circulating in the social media that It’s Chancery has been burnt by protesters.
In a statement signed by Dr Liti Auwalu for the Ambassador,he said that even though protesters trued to gain entry into the Embassy on July 30,the Nigerian Military and Police Authorities ‘promptly curtailed the situation “.

“We reiterate that the videos are fake and as such the general public is enjoined to disregard such videos” the statement added.
