Pastor Enoch Adeboye
General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has asked ministers and other ranks in the Church to stop speculation about who will succeed him when he passed on.
According to the clergy, the issue have long been settled by God since creation.
He spoke on Saturday evening while ministering to church ministers during the annual ministers conference which is part of it’s 71st annual convention.
Said he,”Stop speculation about who to succeed me but focus on yourself and let God do the rest.
“God has decided that question since the beginning of creation and you don’t have to worry since it’s not by election” he declared.
It will be recalled that Pastor Adeboye clocked 81 this year and speculations are rife as regards his successor in the church easily the biggest in the country.
He became the General Overseer in 1983 after the demise of the founder, Pa Josiah Akindayomi.
