Eedris Abdulkareem was born in the city of Kano in the present day Kano State in 19…. He was an outstanding member of the musical group, The Remedies, that was formed in 1998.
In fact, it will not be out of place to say that he was the rapping ‘element’ of the group. If in doubt check out the rapping lines as contained in the group’s second album, ‘Mo Sako Mo’.
He went solo in 2001 when the group fell apart and the centre could not hold. He released his solo album, P. A. S. S. almost immediately in 2002 on the same Kennies Music.
His outstanding albums are ‘Nigeria Jaja and Mr. Lecturer, which contained prophetic lyrics of things happening then and now in Nigeria.
