The Emir of Keffi, Dr Shehu Cindo Yamusa III, paid a courtesy visit to Balogun Owu, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo at his Pent House in the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta over the week.

The Emir, accompanied by a dozen of Palace chiefs, described Chief Obasanjo as a father of the nation whose experience in modern and traditional governance in Africa must be tapped by leaders in the world affairs.

Emir Yamusa who was a law lecturer before he was enthroned as the 15th ruler of Keffi in December 2014 congratulated the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for his successful mediation to create sustainable peace in the Horn of Africa.
Chief Obasanjo displayed a gold ring given him by the Ethiopian President in recognition of his peaceful solution of the political crisis in the Horn of Africa. He expressed his admiration for the visiting Emir and assured him of a reciprocal visit from Owu traditional platform at a later date.
