There is no word to describe the proposal by Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to connect all the states that lays the golden egg for Nigeria other than ‘ a welcome development’
The commission made this revelation known in Lagos on March 25; it was during the signing signing of an MoU with an American company,…., that will do the job.
The Managing Director of NDDC,…, had also revealed that the project will cost the commission a huge sum of $15m .
Just when people of the affected area and Nigerians were thanking God that the commission has woken up to its mandate of development, the chairman of the commission, Lauretta Onochie,distanced the board from the project. She not only washed her hands and that of the board of the million dollar project but described it as ‘shady, hazy..’ and so on
