The Federal Government through the Ministry of Education, has extended the resumption date of tertiary institutions across the country till March 20.
This development announced by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, on Thursday, in Abuja, was necessitated following the shifting of the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC).
It will be recalled that INEC announced the shifting of the election scheduled to hold on March 11 to 18, to enable the electoral body to reconfigure the Bimodal Voter’s Accreditation System (BVAS), as granted by the court
It will be recalled that the Federal Government had earlier directed universities and inter-university centres to close between 22 February and 14 March ahead of the 2023 general elections.
