Ajibola, son of pioneer ICPC chair, dies at 57

The eldest son of Justice Mustapha Akanbi (rtd) the late pioneer Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, (ICPC) Alhaji Abdulhakeem Ajibola Akanbi, is dead. He was aged 57.

He died barely few months after the demise of his younger brother and Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Muhammed Akanbi SAN, ROYAL NEWS reports.

ICPC arrests  nine persons for vote buying in  Osun, Ondo, Borno, Akwa Ibom and Sokoto states 

Late Abdulhakeem Akanbi until his death, was the Director Special Duties, Court of Appeal, Abuja.

The Janaza prayer for the repose of the deceased will hold today at the National Mosque, Abuja shortly after Zuhr prayer.

He is survived by wife and four children. May Allah be pleased with his soul and make him a dweller of Aljanat Firdaus, ameen.
