The invite to ride on the newly commissioned Blue Line train was by Mr, Kolawole Ojelabi of LAMATA. The aim was to educate select stakeholders and journalist how the novel infrastructure will work when it’s finally open for operation in the days ahead.
According to Ojelabi over 300 people were invited for this ride that took off from the magnificent train station at Marina to it’s terminus in Mile.
Exactly 30 minutes journey to Mile2 and 30 minutes back like Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of the trial blazing Lagos State, said earlier.
When operational access to train will be through Cowery card, that is been used to board Bus Rapid Transport (BRT).
