Governor El Rufai of Kaduna state has declared that all the twenty two governors of the party are committed and working for the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as President just as he said President Muhammadu Buhari can never work against him.
Speaking in an interview with Television Continental monitored by our correspondent,the Kaduna state governor disclosed that as far back as 2021 Buhari has expressed his commitment to a Southern presidency to the Northern governors but mandated them to give him list of five candidates to pick from.
In answer to a question he said that the cabal working in the Presidency are just using Buharis name for their own selfish motives adding,”they have never won any councillorship seat or election and can’t win but just dropping the President’s name.
Said he,”As we speak,all the twenty two governors are working round the clock to ensure victory for Tinubu.
Governor Rufai said that the same elements in Aso rock whose identity would be revealed at the appropriate time are the ones who sold a dummy that Buhari endorsed Senate President Ahmed Lawan but said when the twelve Northern governors approach him,he quickly ask his Special adviser to issue a statement and denounce it.

On the fifth columnists working against the party he declared,”It is the same elements we fought in the National Working Committee,NWC and who we also fought in the party and who are encouraging bad policies by dropping the name of the President.
Governor El Rufai also lampoon People’s Democratic Party,PDP candidate Atikus Abubakar of encouraging bad policies against his people on the change of redesign currency adding,”if he is not part of them how can a leader be pushing for a policy against his people out of desperation “.
Speaking on Peter Obi of the Labour Party,LP he said he cannot have votes beyond his South East adding,” he can’t even have one percent in Kaduna,Sokoto and Kano. The only state he can have votes are in Lagos and some parts of the middle belt.
According to the Kaduna state governor,most of the opinion polls being conducted by supporters of Obi are faulty from the beginning adding,” I’m in love with data and stastistics but the base of their research is faulty for a country of one million you polled only three thousand and use that as a measure.”
