Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Wednesday warned residents to be careful of electrocution on the track of the newly commissioned Blue line, a light train, because the tracks come with full electric powers on them 24 hours.

This was as he commissioned the first phase of Lagos Blue Line Rail.

The newly commissioned phase is expected to run from Marina to Mile 2

Sanwo-Olu while giving his speech warned the Lagosians against walking on the rail tracks adding that the tracks will be powered 24/7.

“Today, we are here to fulfill another promise made during the period of our electioneering campaign in 2019,”

“Let me re-emphasize that the rail tracks will be powered 24/7. I hereby urge our people to do away with anything that has to do with the rail tracks,” he stated
