The Lagos State Government has directed heads of private schools in the state that the teaching of History as a stand-alone subject should be re-introduced to schools.
This was disclosed on Saturday, in a memo addressed to owners and heads of private schools by the Director of Research at the Office of Education Quality Assurance of the Lagos State Ministry of Education, Mrs Esther Pelumi.
