A former military administrator of Oyo state, Brigadier Ekundayo Opaleye has been appointed as the chairman of the Coronation Committee for the installation of new Olowu of Owu,Abeokuta.
Opaleye,who is the Balogun of Erunmu,Owu Abeokuta will be assisted by other distinguished sons and daughters of Owu towards the successful coronation of the
13th Olowu Oba Saka Matemilola whose selection was approved by the Ogun state government two weeks ago and have since commenced traditional Ipebi rites prior to the coronation.
The coronation date will however be determined by the general Owu leaders.
