The People’s Democratic Party,PDP,Senate minority caucus have raised a point of order to call on President Muhammadu Buhari to commence an impeachment process against him over security crisis in the country.

The motion raised by Senator Phillip Aduda, representing FCT was however over ruled by the Senate President Ahmed Lawan.
As a result,the minority caucus staged a walk- out and later addressed a press conference where they gave President Buhari six weeks within which to address the security problems or resign from office.
It will be recalled that the nation recently lost ten soldiers made up of two officers and eight others during an ambush by terrorists near the Abuja law school.
Series of terrorists activities and banditry has gripped the country in the past few weeks aggravating the already tense situation occasioned by bitting inflation and economic downturn.
