Proudly Cardiff:Like father, like daughter!
It was a joyous occasion for the family of Dr Kola Adesina,Head of Department of Mass communication of Crescent University,Abeokuta Ogun state Nigeria as his daughter, Hamidat Adetola Adesina graduated from Cardiff University,during the week.
For Adetola,it was a making of history as she cap the father’s effort which started over three decades ago as reporter with Village News,back in Abeokuta Ogun state to a global level.
Today as Dr Adesina has reached a peak both as reporter,mentor and teacher of Journalism as HOD,Mass communication of Crescent , Adetola is taking off as Editorial Assistant with one of the big five global publishers.
Talk of daughter surpassing Daddy from start.
For Adetola, the sky is the limit as she has taken off from a higher level on the global scene decades after his father started his trade.
What is more, as a graduate of School of Journalism Media and Culture,Cardiff University,she is set to challenge and surpass the record of her father from the rural Village News setting decades ago to the global level with the Pen name Tola Adesina.
It was indeed a day of joy for her parents Dr and Mrs Kola Adesina in Cardiff,United Kingdom.
