Iya Olumo
Chief Mrs Sinatu Aduke Sanni popularly known as Iya Olumo( mother goddess of the rock) and the oldest woman in Ogun state has reportedly died on Wednesday morning at her Itoko residence Abeokuta at the age of 137 years.
Until her death she was the chief priest of the Olumo rock where the Egba people settled in 1830 at the height of the Yoruba wars which displaced the four divisions,Egba Alake,Owu,Gbagura, Oke-ona from their original homesteads.
In her life time she has survived over nine Alake of egbaland.
