First son of late winner of the June 12,1993 presidential election,the late Basorun Abiola,Kola Abiola, has spoken of plans to use his new party the People’s Redemption Party,PRP to get the youths of the country to disrupt the political system towards building a new Nigeria.
Speaking in an Interview with Seun Okinbaloye anchor of Politics Today on Channels Television, he said that this has to happen because the existing political parties are stereo- type of the old system which cannot bring any change to Nigeria.

According to Abiola Saud having toured all parts of the country,he discovered that the youths between the ages of 18-40 are yearning for a positive change in the nations political and social system.

He said that it is only this new movement and generational political change as typified in the PRP, that could bring real Change to the country.

Said he,”Our aim is to target the youths between the ages of 18-36 all over Nigeria and they have to be brought together to make a difference.

He explained further that as of today,the youths in the country have the faith in the ability to rebuild the country which the present dominant political parties the All Progressives Congress,APC and People’s Democratic Party,PDP cannot achieve.

He also contended that for leadership to be meaningful, responsibility has to involve all spheres and strata of the society adding,”my wish is to make a difference across all parts of Nigeria.
In answer to a question on his sibblings who are in other political like Hafsat Abiola- Costello,Director General of the Yayah- Bello presidential campaign,he said that since the Abiola family cannot be all in the same political party,they are free to belong anywhere adding,”the Abiola political family is a brand in the country”. How Kola Abiola got it wrong on Tinubu, Nyiam
