Governors both former and serving threw politics aside last Saturday as they attended an all night party held by the children of a former President Olusegun Obasanjo to conclude activities to mark.his 85 the birthday.
The Owambe party was held at Marriott Hotel Ikeja and was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life some of who had earlier attended a symposium held for him earlier in the day in Abeokuta.

The celebrant Obasanjo,it will be recalled left the afternoon symposium held at the Maque situated inside the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library to rest before he headed for Lagos later in the day to attend the birthday bash.
Aside former and serving governors led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, the party was also attended by the cream of ex senators, business tycoons, etc .
Among the former governors who attended are Senator Ibikunle Amosun,Gbenga Daniel, Duke,Lyke Imoke, Bukola Saraki, Dapo Abiodun, Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Lamido and a host of others. It was gathered that Iyabo Obasanjo,who for some time now had been enstranged with her father,also flew in to join her siblings from the US. It was a beautiful night with Chief Enenezer Obey on stand.
Obasanjo, remain the first ex president to be so treated.
