A woman believed to be deaf was overran and killed in Itoki area of Ogun State on Wednesday.
The woman, whose identity could not be ascertained was said to be looking for help for her child when the tragedy happened.
Passers by said after the train had crushed her, they found an envelope which indicated she was a deaf woman who was looking for help.
A Twitter user by the handle @omigari had posted on his account “The deaf woman was killed by the fed govt train at Itoki,Ogun state dis evn. D most painful part of dis story is dat she was lookin 4 who&how to help her baby.She has a small paper with her, written on it was her request. “
Many had called on the Federal Governmentto take over her child for necessary care.
