There was palpable confusion on Wednesday over the death of a former deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adetoun Adediran.

Altjough Adediran had earlier in the day been pronounced dead to the surprise of many.

She was said to have died after two days of sickness.

However, while relatives and undetakers from Ebony funerals and some Islamic clerics were preparing for her burial, some relatives had reportedly claimed that the late Adediran had risen up.

A video to this effect had gone viral showing some undertakers from Ebony Funeral Services at the residence.

In the video, some people were seen jubilating and thanking God for bringing back to life, the former lawmaker who also served as Woman Leader of the All Progressive Congress in Lagos.
Besides,some online reports…Newsnow and others had published the story of her resurrection.

However, after the jubilation, it was said that some people who went in where the remains of Adediran was being prepared said there was no truth in her coming back to life.

She was later brought out for the final Islamic prayer for the dead.
Picture shows her remains inside the coffin while the Islamic clerics offered final prayers before she was eventually buried.
