Kidnappers have abducted the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fugar , Edo State Command , Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq.
It was gathered that the police officer was kidnapped around Ise river along old Auchi – Ekperi- Agenebode road, of Edo State, on Friday evening.
A reliable source said that the abductors on Saturday contacted the family demanding N50m, ransom for his release.
The senior police personnel before his deployment to Edo State was a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Kano State.
Efforts to get a reaction from Force Police Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba proved abortive as his phone line was not connecting.
