COVID-19:Nigeria High Commission in London closed as two officials test positive

The Nigerian High Commission office in London has been closed for ten days.
The closure is as a result of two officials of the commission who tested positive to the Coronavirus .

According to a statement today, two officials of the Commission have gone for a meeting at the home office but we’re discovered to have tested positive when a mandatory COVID-19 test was administered on one them in line with protocols.
After the test one of them tested positive and was immediately isolated.
However,as a result the commission embarked in a testing of officers of the mission during which another official tested positive.
As a result,the commission stated that in line with it’s resolve to abide with Covid-19 regulation of the home country,the commission will be closed for the next ten days in order to observe the mandatory isolation of all those who were in contact with those officials.
It therefore stated that while it regretted any inconvenience it may cause,it is also seeking the cooperation of the general public.
