Chioma Heritage Osademe has emerged the winner of the Spelling Bee competition organized by Tombey College, 11 Kolawole Eboda Street, Ketu, Lagos and was rewarded with the position of a One-Day Proprietress of the prestigious College.

In a Statement by the College Management, 20 contestants of the Spelling Bee competition got to the Quarter finals category, 10 contestants reached the semi-finals category and 5 finalists contested for the award in which Chioma Heritage Osademe, a Senior Secondary 2 student and daughter of Pastor Godwin Osademe, The Redeemed Christian Church of God cleric, emerged as winner and took home prized gifts like books, electronic equipment and a one- day Proprietress position .
At the finals of the competition on the 30th day of June, 2021, Miss Oreoluwa Adebusuyi emerged as the second runner up; while Master Munachi Agu was the First runner up.
Miss CHIOMA HERITAGE OSADEME’s emergence as a DAY PROPRIETRESS of Tombey College was first of its kind after a stretched competition.
Miss Chioma Osademe was inaugurated as a Day Proprietress by the sitting proprietress, Mrs A. I Bejide on Friday, 2nd July 2021.
She addressed the students to a rousing applause that interrupted or punctuated her speeches that day. She advised students to work hard because the twin factors of character and learning make a healthy academics. She also inspected the classrooms, directed the affairs of the College that day took full charge as a Proprietress. She was also driven in an official car as a Proprietress to the Nursery and Primary Schools branch of Tombey Schools located at 1 Remilekun Street, Ketu, in company of the winner of the Primary School Spelling Bee competition category, one Master Mayowa Ajaye, a
Primary 4 learner.
One of the major highlights of the day was that Chioma Heritage Osademe had as her student the sitting Proprietress, Mrs A. I. Bejide, a retired Education Director, Lagos State and a seasoned educationist.

It was an awesome and amazing experience at Tombey College as it was the maiden edition relinquishing the position of the Proprietress of the College to a student for one day.
