Organisers of the #HarassBuhariOutofParis protest made good their threat Tuesday as they protest at the venue of African Summit in Paris, Francis which kicks off Tuesday.
Recall that Buhari landed in Paris on Sunday for a four-day official visit to attend the African Finance Summit, according to presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu.
Shehu also said the summit would focus on reviewing the African economy following shocks from the coronavirus pandemic and getting relief, especially from increased debt burden on countries.you
He added that the summit, to be hosted by President Emmanuel Macron of France, would draw major stakeholders in the global financial institutions and some Heads of Government, who would, collectively, discuss external funding and debt treatment for Africa, and private sector reforms.
Moreover, Reno Omokri in a statement yesterday said President Muhammadu Buhari cannot be globetrotting while Nigeria is speedily drifting to chaos. He urged Nigerians in Paris to join the campaign to #HarassBuhariOutOfParis
A check my Elombahnews shows that dozens of Nigerians are presently at the venue of the summit, calling on President Muhammadu to go back home where he is needed most.
However, Reno Omokri living true to his words of chasing Buhari back to Nigeria said, “Happening LIVE: The #HarassBuhariOutofParis peaceful protest is currently ongoing at the venue of the Africa Summit, in Paris, France.
“Nigeria is drifting. Everyday, citizens are dying. The Naira is tumbling. Policemen are being killed daily. Soldiers are being slaughtered hourly. Students are being abducted.
“Farmers are being ambushed. We face a food crisis because farmers can no longer farm and food can no longer be transported due to bandits and killer herdsmen.
“General Muhammadu Buhari can’t be globetrotting while Nigeria is drifting. Buhari, go home and fix Nigeria!”
