Coming home, gunshots, mayhem reign as hoodlums storm Mile 12

Just as kidnappers snatched some students of Abia state university, hoodlums too took centre stage in Gengere area of Mile 12 Lagos,Thursday.

It was gathered that when the mayhem started as early as 7am ,residents were seen fleeing for their lives.

Massive gunshots were heard from across the area as many scampered for safety.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent of Police, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the incident, said normalcy has been restored in the area.

He said, “normalcy has been restored to Gengere, Mile 12 area of Lagos State following a fight that broke out among some hoodlums in the area. The command will give details soon”.
