All is still not well with the nation’s tertiary institutions as the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) on Tuesday warned that its strike may resume.
ASUU said the Federal Government must first honour its own part of the agreements entered into with the union for the lecturers to go back to classes.
“Government should honour the agreements because it will be a big surprise to Nigerians that ASUU is back on strike again if government fails to honour our demands the strike will continue!!” a tweet stated on the union’s Twitter handle .
Already, the information has caused panic across the country with millions of students who have been preparing to return to schools after 10 months of staying at home.
The Ministries of Education and the Labour and Productivity are yet to respond to the development.
