In the spirit of the Yueltide, Soroptimst International Club of Ikoyi recently paid a charity visit to the Massey Children Hospital, Lagos.
The visit which was led by President of the Club, Chief (Mrs) Helen Majemite and Vice President Bibiana Asiemo also had in attendance other executives and members of the Club.
Members of the Club in commemoration of Christmas season decorated the Hospital and also donated food items and party gifts for patients at the Hospital.
Chief Medical Director ,Dr Bimbola Mabogunje, who was on ground to receive the Club Members for their kind gesture also admomsihed others to emulate them.
Speaking on the rationale behind the visit, Majemite explaned to our reporter that Charity is one of the cores of Soroptimst International and they are always anxious to give bring smiles to the faces of the down trodden.
