The Nigeria Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has fined Nigeria Info 99.3FM Lagos the sum of N5 million.
This was for providing its platform to be used to promote unverifiable and inciting views that can incite crime, public disorder.
It will be recalled that the station Tuesday granted an interview to a retired Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria,Dr Mailafia,who accused a sitting governor of funding dreaded terrorist group Boko Haram and spoke of planning to wage a war on southern Nigeria.
